I’m not a “Buddhist” for only the Siddhartha was THE Buddha.
The proper word for someone takes refuge in the Dharma is Dhammiko.
Is it pretentious to say that..
I want to take after my heroes? Brad Warner, Noah Levine, Deepak Chopra, and Eckhart Tolle? That I hope to one day learn to share light like they do? That I aspire to be at the point that they have reached? To write books in the future as they have?

Lately I have been surrounded by raw emotion. Anger has been directed all around me, and at me. Hostility and lack of understanding and compassion has been prevalent. I may not understand why many people in my life have been choosing to live this way, and continue this cycle.
But… I feel it’s started a level of growth within me. I’m learning a valuable lesson.
